Books to FilmMaurice Sendak's Where the Wild Things Are is coming to the big screen on October 16th. This famous children's book is about a boy who, after getting in trouble, is sent to his room and begins imagining a forest in which he becomes king of all of the animals.
First published back in 1963, the book has remained a hit so if you're new to being a kid, don't forget to read the book before you go see the movie! The library also has a number of other great titles written, illustrated, or inspired by the always inventive Mr. Sendak.
